Het bal

Nadat je al die nieuwe dansen hebt geleerd tijdens het blokweekend (of in de dansles) is er natuurlijk maar één plek om je nieuwe en afgestofte vaardigheden te showen: op ons jaarlijks galabal!

 

Trek je mooiste jurk of je strakste pak aan (historische kostuums zijn niet verplicht maar uiteraard wel toegestaan) en kom lekker even met de voetjes van de vloer tijdens deze ruim vier uur lange dansavond.


Het thema dit jaar luidt Le Cirque Ridicule. Dit jaar zijn ze op bezoek in Precieusia, kom jij ook kijken?

Indansen, gala-ontbijt en pannenkoeken

Indansen

Voordat het bal begint, kun je diezelfde middag nog even oefenen en de spieren warm laten draaien. We leggen een aantal dansjes uit, waaronder de (meeste) dansen die op het balboekje staan dit jaar.

 

Gala-ontbijt

Voor de mensen die maar niet genoeg kunnen krijgen van het dansen is er de ochtend na het bal nog een gala-ontbijt. We gaan lekker door met het dansen van onze eigen dansen en die van andere verenigingen terwijl we gezellig samen ontbijten.

 

Pannenkoeken

We weten niet hoe het mogelijk is, maar elk jaar weer zijn er mensen die het zelfs na het gala-ontbijt nog volhouden om door te gaan. Mocht ook jij nog wakker zijn tegen die tijd, dan ben je van harte welkom om die middag nog zelfgebakken pannenkoeken te komen eten bij één van onze oud-leden thuis. Meer informatie hierover en het precieze adres volgen in een email in de weken voor het galaweekend.

16.00 - 19.00 uur: diner (niet inbegrepen)

19.30 - 24.00 uur: het bal

 

Zondag 15 juni 2025 - gala-ontbijt

Locatie

Als het weer meezit, houden we het gala-ontbijt in het Goffertpark in Nijmegen. Verdere details en het adres voor de pannenkoeken volgen later per email.

Programma

± 11.00 uur: start gala-ontbijt

± 14.00 uur: verhuizen naar de pannenkoekenlocatie :)

Wat is inbegrepen?
  • Toegang tot het bal (19.30 - 24.00 uur)
  • Een aantal ronden bittergarnituur
  • De eerste twee drankjes

Ticket opties

Het balticket verschaft standaard alleen toegang tot het bal zelf.

Wil je ook naar het indansen, het gala-ontbijt of de pannenkoeken komen, dan kun je hiervoor extra opties aan je galaticket toevoegen.

The ball

After learning new dances at the blokweekend or during dance class, what better place to show off your skills than at the annual LPR Ball? Join us for an unforgettable night of dance and fun!

 

Put on your dancing shoes, slip into your best dress or suit (court dancing costumes are always welcome, but not required!) and get ready to dance the night away!


This year's theme is Le Cirque Ridicule. They will visit Precieusia this year. Will you also come and visit?

Warm-up, gala breakfast and pancakes

Warm-up

Before the ball starts, you can come and practise a few dances with us. We will be teaching a few of them, including most of the dances on this year's dance card.

 

Gala breakfast

For those who simply cannot get enough, the day after the ball proper, there is the gala breakfast. We will dance anything we want to, including dances from other associations while we have "breakfast". If we're honest about it though, it's really more of a brunch; late nights, early mornings and all that…

 

Pancakes

We're not sure why, but some people never seem to get tired during the ball weekend. If you happen to survive to this point, you are welcome to enjoy some home-made pancakes with us. More details about this afternoon as well as the address will be sent to you in an email as we approach the ball weekend.

Location

The breakfast will be held in the Goffertpark in Nijmegen, weather permitting. More details about it and the pancakes will be sent in an email in the weeks before the ball takes place.

Programme

11am or so: kick-off breakfast

2pm or so: moving to the pancake location ;)

Ticket options

The ball ticket without any extras provides access to the ball only.

You can add on tickets for the warm-up, gala breakfast and pancakes if you wish, but these are all optional.

 

If you plan on coming to the ball as well, buy a combined ticket instead and get a €10.- discount!
